Personal note: I have not been very faithful to complete these “daily roundups.” I will attempt to be more diligent in the future. I hope they are helpful to you. These two categories are some of my favorites in life and I desire to pass them on to my readers.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some churches have been wrestling through the issue of the Lord’s Supper. Here is a thoughtful article on the subject of “virtual communion.”

Thoughts on the Lord’s Supper — taken from the Westminster Larger Catechism #172
Helpful videos for Greek students and pastors who find the textual apparatus of Nestle-Aland 28 and UBS5 somewhat confusing. I know I did, and these videos helped me tremendously. I decided to order the NA28 and UBS5 for my Logos Bible Software as well as the hardcover of the UBS5 (I already own the NA28 hardcopy). After reading through the book How to Understand and Apply the New Testament by Andrew Naselli, I became more interested in this part of sermon preparation.
Though You Slay Me:

In the very midst of life’s deepest pains and most gut-wrenching losses, God loves to give a strange and wonderful gift. We cry out for healing, or relief, or some pressing change in our circumstances. Sometimes God answers those cries. But even more often, he gives us something more supernatural: praise.

Technology:

Some of you may have noticed an ODD bug when updating Chrome. If not, you may not have updated lately. You can check for an update by going to the settings window (the three dots in the top right) and then “about.” If it says that you are up-to-date everything is working as it should. However, if it says “relaunch to finish updating,” click the button and when Chrome comes back, you may see it again (and again, and again depending on how many times you click it). To fix this problem, read this article (ignoring the version numbers as the solution is the same).
