Prayer: Grant to us, O Father, the blessing of your presence and the comfort of your Word as we gather today to worship, adore, and honor you. You are our God, and we are your people. It is good for your people to join with one voice to thank you and sing your praises. You have ordained music to be used to worship you. You use it to lift our hearts and souls from those things that quickly bring us low. Through song, we are raised up as we sing your praises through those words that convey your infinite goodness. Through your Word, you speak to your people; through song, we respond to it with hearts full of thanksgiving and praise. Please grant to us, O Father, delight in your worship. Please forgive us for not responding to you as we should. Please help us by your Spirit to worship you in truth, joy, and love for all you have done for us. Indeed, your works are great and glorious. You have made us glad through the work of your beloved Son. You have opened our eyes to see your beauty and wisdom. We are humbled that you would be mindful of us. Your love is infinite and encourages us as we pilgrim to our heavenly rest. Please help us, Lord! Be merciful to your people today we pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.
