Prayer: Grant almighty God that as your people gather to worship you today, they would do so with great hunger and thirst to be in your presence. We thank you for the privilege of worship and the benefit that comes to us by being with your people. We thank you for this one day in seven that we can set aside our worldly cares and spend it resting in your goodness and kindness showed to us. We thank you for your Word that is preached as we sit and listen to the very mind of the Almighty. We pray and ask that you would speak to us today, and guide us by your eternal light, and show us Christ our Lord. We pray that you would bring many in who need to hear the gospel of the Lord Jesus. We ask that you save them from their misery and the tragic end they face without Christ. We ask that your Word would be proclaimed as a powerful demonstration of your Spirit to the glory of your great name we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.
