Prayer: Our God, we ask that you would bless us with your presence today and guide and protect us as we trust you in all things. We are comforted by the truths of your Word that teach us that you love your people and will never swerve from that commitment to help us and deliver us safely through the storms of this life until we reach the shores of the New Heavens and the New Earth. Though many foes assail us, and though we are threatened by those who hate you, we rest securely in the knowledge of your divine favor granted to us through your Son. We thank you for granting us the eyes to see and the ears to hear the truths of the Gospel. We thank you for not leaving us dead in our sin but, instead, made us alive in Christ. In him, we have a solid rock on which to anchor our souls. In him, we have a sympathetic High Priest who knows our struggles and sorrows. In him, we find rest. Thank you, Father, for not treating us as our sins deserve, burying them in the deepest ocean.

We pray, holy God that you would be pleased to bring salvation to the nations. We ask that you would cause your church to live as useful salt and light in this decaying and dark world. May you be pleased to cause all people, everywhere, to praise you we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.
