Prayer: Our God in heaven, we praise your name today because you have granted us another day in which we can serve you and do the good works you have ordained for us to do. We confess to you our sins of omission, often failing to do what you have commanded us. We are ashamed at the number of missed opportunities we are given to let our lights shine before men. Forgive us, Father, and help us by your Spirit to faithfully discharge the duties of our calling. We pray for your church, asking that she would be purified and cleansed and made ready for her husband. We long to see your churches full of men and women, boys and girls proclaiming your glory and majesty. We ask that you would send forth your Word to every tribe and tongue, conquering the kingdom of darkness and advancing the kingdom of grace. We pray these things in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
