Prayer: Our God in heaven, you who are holy, full of goodness and displaying your power and majesty, we bow before you on the queen of days given to your people to enjoy you in worship and benefit from the gathering of your people in public worship. We thank you for giving to us this day that reminds us of that which we await as a snapshot of the end of our campaign on this earth. We pray that you would help us to worship you in spirit and truth. We ask that you would rend the heavens and come down and meet with us today as we sing your praise and hear from you as your Word is read and preached. Grant to your servants’ unction of the Spirit as a powerful demonstration of His mighty work in giving us your infallible and inspired Word. Bring to your people that bread of life that alone satisfies the soul. Help those who are weak and struggling through your Word preached today. May it strengthen and help them and give them all that they need to pilgrim through this world faithfully. Forgive us, Father, for falling short of your glory in all that we do and grant to us, by your Holy Spirit, greater zeal to seek first your kingdom and righteousness. We pray these things in the name of our wonderful Lord and Savior, your Son. Amen.
