Prayer: Father in heaven, You Who made heaven and earth and of which glorify Your name and show forth Your beauty (Psa. 1), we humbly come before You today as Your children. We adore You for what You so graciously show us each day. In creation, You show Your might and power through that which we witness with our eyes. In acts of kindness, not giving to us what we deserve, but demonstrating Your grace in providing us what we need and Your salvation offered to poor sinners through the work of Christ. All of these things demand our praise of You. Forgive us for taking much of this for granted. Forgive us for failing to thank You for all that You do for us. Thank You, Father, for being a God who forgives sin (1 John 1:9). Help us, today, to walk in Your ways as Your children. Grant to us Your Holy Spirit, as promised (Lk. 11:1-13), that we might glorify You in all that we do (1 Cor. 10:31). We pray this in Christs’ Name. Amen.
