Prayer: Our God in heaven: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, you alone are glorious and great, a God who works wonders in his creation and displays his beauty over the whole earth. Each day we witness your majestic work of creation and stand in awe of you. Day unto day pours forth speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. Though we cannot hear your voice, we hear you declare your presence and existence. Your voice goes out throughout the whole world, and your words are heard from horizon to horizon. You hold men accountable to your presence through these things, and though they strive to suppress this knowledge, you remain the one true God of whom there is no other. We thank you, our Father, for revealing yourself to us through the work of your hands. We further thank you for showing yourself through your beloved Son. Finally, we are grateful beyond words for your work of redeeming us from sin and misery and bringing us into your marvelous light. Therefore, holy Father, please help us when we witness your creation to stand and praise you. You alone are worthy of our praise, and we long to give you the glory for all that you have made. Please help us in our weak condition to labor to live our lives as living sacrifices before you. These things we pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.
