Prayer: Our most glorious and holy Father in heaven, we come to you this day and bow before your throne. You who rule over heaven and earth. You are the most sovereign and righteous of all creation. To you, we give praise and honor and glory today. We thank you that you have invited us to come to you and pray. WE know that we are unworthy servants. We acknowledge that if not for your Son, our Savior, we would not have access to you. Yet, we do and we now come to ask that you would forgive us for our many sins. How often, Lord,m do we fail you? How often are our thoughts far from you? How often do we fail to love you with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength? We mourn our indwelling sin. Forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We plead with you that you might revive your people again. We long to see your churches full of people that delight to sing praises to you. Help your people to walk in obedience to your Word. Cause them to seek first your kingdom and righteousness. Pour out your Holy Spirit on your people, O God. Help us and sustain us who are the very apple of your eye. We pray this in Christs’ Name. Amen.
