NOTE: Starting with the December 1, 2022, edition of the daily prayer, I will begin praying through the Psalms, starting with Psalm 1 and continuing until it is complete.

Prayer: Grant, almighty God, that you who are all glorious and mighty, full of wisdom and understanding, would draw your people to worship you with their lives today, doing all that you have commanded them to do. We thank you for your work of redemption through which you rescued poor sinners from their dead state and made them alive in Christ. We thank you that you were pleased to crush your Son for our sakes, unworthy as we are for the good news that has come to us. We thank you that you will continue that good work of conforming us into His image until we are made like Him, see Him, and are with Him forever. Grant, we plead that you would cause us to walk as holy as is possible for sinners in thankful duty for what you have done and are doing for us. Please forgive us for our many sins and transgressions and cause us to put to death the deeds of the flesh that we might honor you we pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Scripture Meditation: Is. 53; Rom. 8:28-30; Phil. 1:6
