Prayer: our God, we thank you for your kindness and mercy, which is given to us daily. We thank you for being pleased to rescue us from our misery and sin through the work of your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. We thank you for the many blessings you give to us. We thank you for our homes, our vehicles, our families, our spouses, our children, our church, and our church family. We thank you that you do not treat us as we deserve but have poured out grace upon grace to us each day.
We thank you for revealing yourself to us, poor creatures of dust, and telling us who you are and what you do. You are the God of the covenant and do exceedingly, abundantly beyond anything we can imagine or ask. You are faithful to us when we are faithless. We thank you that you never change and that all your promises are sure and true. We thank you for the promise of the New Heavens and New Earth. We thank you that you will never abandon us but will lead and guide us all our days. In these things, we are determined to praise you, our God, because you alone are worthy. Amen.
