Prayer: Our Father in heaven, we bless your name today and give you the praise and honor that you alone deserve. You are the only true God, and there is no other. You have made the world, the sea, and all we behold by the word of your power. We thank you that you are the alone Sovereign of heaven and earth. We bless your name for your care and guidance for your people, knowing you will never leave us or forsake us.
We confess our sin to you and ask that you would forgive us for your Son’s sake. We long to be godly. We long to be holy as you are holy. Help us by your Spirit to pursue the things that are good and right as established by your eternal Word. Grant to us a greater work of the Spirit and more fruit that comes from him. We pray these things in Christs’ Name. Amen.
