Prayer: Our Father in heaven, we bless your name today because you alone are holy. We thank you that you have displayed your name over all the earth and that you have given us your word as a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. We praise you for your kindness, not leaving us in darkness but bringing us into your marvelous light.
Forgive us, Father, for not spending time in your Word each day as we should. Forgive us for taking it for granted. Forgive us for not meditating on it day and night. Grant to us your Spirit to help and encourage us in your Word. We long to obey you as you have commanded, and we thank you that you have provided the words of Scripture to guide us in our lives. We pray this in Christs’ Name. Amen.
