Prayer: Our great God in heaven: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we adore you as the only true God of heaven and earth. We are humbled at our kindness and compassion. We thank you for not treating us as our sins deserve. You have taken our sins and buried them in the deepest ocean because of the work of the great high priest, the Lord Jesus Christ. We thank you for your Word that lights our path and gives us guidance and direction in our lives.
Help us today, Father. Help us to trust you with all of our heart and to not lean on our own understanding. Grant to us the faith to acknowledge you in all of our labors, knowing that you will guide our steps and bring us where you want us by your divine providence. We ask that you would cause us to glorify you in all that we do, knowing that it pleases you when your children seek to honor you with their whole heart, soul, mind, and strength. We ask this in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
