Prayer: Our God in heaven, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we gladly come to you this morning, anticipating your worship with your people today. We are thankful for the great privilege we are offered to come into your presence to worship and adore you and to hear from you as your Word is read and proclaimed. We thank you for giving us your Son, the great High Priest, who mediates on our behalf. Through Him, we are able to pray and to worship. In him, we have the forgiveness of sin granted to us by you, our holy and righteous God.
We pray that this day you would be glorified. We pray that we would see your glory and that we would behold your majesty. Help us to worship you in spirit and truth. We pray in Christs’ Name. Amen.
