Prayer: Grant to your redeemed people, almighty God, ears to hear our cries and pleadings so we would not faint in the day of adversity or fall under the weight of the many burdens this life brings due to the sin that has wrecked all that you have made. Grant, we beg you the resolve to walk in integrity all our days as we seek to live worthy of the calling you have placed on our lives. You alone are holy and wise, guiding and guarding our steps as we pilgrim this adulterous and sinful generation. You, Father, are good and protect the feet of your servants so they will not slip and fall. You, most holy God, vindicate your people day after day and will do so for eternity on that great day when we are acknowledged and acquitted by you. Please help us, Lord, to walk in integrity before you regardless of what man may do to us. Test our hearts, and prove our desire to serve you this day. Do not allow us to stand with sinners and participate in their awful schemes we pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.
