Prayer: Our glorious God in heaven, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we bless your name today and give you the praise and glory that you deserve. We approach you with reverence and awe because there is no God like you. You are the God who has redeemed us from the slavery and bondage of Egypt. You have taken us from that prison of sin and death and have placed us firmly on the solid rock, which is Christ. Due to the sovereign work of your hand, you have provided a spotless Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. We thank you, Father, that you have provided salvation for pitiful creatures.
Forgive us, Lord, for falling so far short of your glory. We confess that we are creatures of dust and often fail you. Forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Grant to us a willing heart to sincerely and promptly obey you in all things.
