Prayer: Grant almighty God that as we read your Word and the words of the Psalmist, we would delight in your law and see your Son who delighted in your Word. May we, as your redeemed people, learn to walk carefully according to all that you teach us in the pages of the Holy Scripture. Grant, we beg you, a willingness to not take counsel from the world and the wicked. Grant, we ask of you that we would avoid surrounding ourselves with the revilers and rebellious but, instead, take counsel from the righteous and those who fear you. We thank you, Lord, for prospering the work of our hands as we learn to love you and your Word. Please grant us an increase of grace and bring fruit from our labors, we pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.
