Prayer: Our Father in heaven, we now draw near to you with holy reverence and boldness. We are your children and you are our Father. You have graciously redeemed us from our slavery to sin and placed us in your family. We who are now adopted as sons and daughters cry out to you this day for your tender mercy and grace that we need each day. Forgive us, Father, for those times when we forget that you love us and are for us. We long to be always ready to draw near to you alone. We long for the day when the sin that still plagues us will be forever removed. Bless us, today, and be gracious to us. Make your face to shine upon us, O God. We pray this in Christs’ Name. Amen.
