Prayer: Our God in heaven, we come to express our complete dependence on you today through this privilege of praying to the only true God of heaven and earth. We express our misery living in this life as pilgrims in a world that is in rebellion to you. We confess that we, too, at one time, had dark hearts and minds and were in rebellion to you. We acknowledge that we still wrestle with indwelling sin and express it daily in thought word and deed. Forgive us, Father, and help us to walk in your ways and seek first your kingdom and righteousness.

We ask that you would grant salvation to those whom your Son purposed to redeem. We pray for our families and friends that have not bowed the knee to the Lord Jesus, who invites all men to come to him, those who are weary and heavy-laden who will find rest for their souls in Him. We ask that you would be pleased to open their eyes and ears to the truth of the Gospel as given in your Word and completed by your beloved Son. Please help them. Be merciful to them and rescue them from their sin. We pray this in the Name of the Savior. Amen.
